Please note that Professionals advertising and working from our site do so on thier own proviso. East Finchley Consulting (EFC) conducts a basic check of professional who wish to rent rooms  at the time of signing up in order to check that they are entitled to describe themselves in the manner that they do and that they are insured in thier occupation.

EFC is not a practice or partnership of professionals. nor do we employ any of the professionals who use our service.  EFC therefore is unable to vouch for any Professional's style or quality of practice. Consultations are often very personal projects and EFC is not privy to, nor do we seek clients/patients views on thier  experience with thier professional of choice. However, should you wish to check a Profesionals credentials you can directly ask them for proof of thier qualification to practice (or other evidence of competancy) and if they are insured in thier style of working.

Most though not necessarily all Professionals on our site are accredited/registered with professional bodies such as the UKCP, BACP, BABCP, BPA etc. or are at an advanced stage of training. This gives you the possibility to check with these bodies that your
professional is registered/in training  before proceeding and that they can ethically and legally give the service that you are asking for. I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, accredited with the BACP. I have over 20 years’ experience of working in the NHS and private practice and with students in universities.
